For more than two decades, Atlanta has celebrated the final days of summer at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival— and it’s back for another weekend of art, music, food, and fun in one of Atlanta’s most beloved parks!

Festival Hours

Saturday, August 22 | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
🏃 5K Run for the Park | 8:00 AM

Sunday, August 23 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Bring your family, grab a blanket, and make a weekend of it! Enjoy live music, local artists, food trucks, craft beer, kids' activities, wrestling, and plenty of outdoor entertainment as Atlanta rounds out another unforgettable summer.

🚲 Ride to the Festival & Park for FREE!

Make getting to the festival part of the fun! 🚲 Ride to Grant Park and enjoy FREE Bike Valet, courtesy of Northside Hospital. Bring your bike, e-bike, or scooter and let Two Wheel Valet ATL keep it safe and secure while you spend the day enjoying everything the Summer Shade Festival has to offer.

And don't forget about Saturday morning's 5K Run for the Park, kicking off at 8:00 AM before the festival gets underway!

Proceeds from the Summer Shade Festival support the Grant Park Conservancy and its ongoing work to preserve and enhance historic Grant Park.
