Get ready for one of Southeast Atlanta’s most creative neighborhood celebrations! The 2026 Ormewood Park Makers Festival, presented by SAND, returns for a full day celebrating the people who make, build, create, design, cook, craft, teach and inspire.
This isn’t just an arts market. The Makers Festival brings together the feel of an arts festival, craft fair, neighborhood block party and hands-on creative experience all in one place. Expect an eclectic mix of handmade art and goods, demonstrations, workshops, food and drinks, live music and plenty of opportunities to meet the makers behind the work.
Previous festivals have featured 60–70 artist and maker booths, 10–12 workshops, multiple stages of live music, 15–18 food and beverage vendors and local nonprofit organizations, giving you plenty to explore throughout the day. The festival is designed for all ages, and leashed dogs are welcome too.
🛠️ WHAT’S A “MAKER”?
Pretty much anyone who creates something!
Think artists, woodworkers, jewelry makers, photographers, designers, crafters, food artisans, musicians, engineers, tinkerers, educators, DIYers and innovators. Makers don’t just bring their creations to show and sell—they share how things are made through demonstrations, workshops and hands-on activities.
So come ready to shop local, learn something new, grab some good food, catch live music and maybe leave inspired to make something yourself.
🚲 AND YES — RIDE YOUR BIKE!
The festival organizers recommend walking, biking, MARTA or rideshare, and there’s an especially good reason to arrive on two wheels this year: the Southside BeltLine is now open and provides another option for getting toward the festival.
Two Wheel Valet ATL will be there providing complimentary bike valet for festival attendees! 🚲🔐
